Me Gaston Lafleur, President of the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail, is pleased to announce the appointment of Me Nancy Leggett-Bachand, who will assist him as Managing Director. Me Leggett-Bachand has more than 15 years’ experience as a manager and public-relations professional in non-profit organizations. A member of the Quebec Bar and a graduate of UQAM, the École des HEC and the Université de Montréal, she was Executive Director of the association Hebdos Québec for ten years, as well as being actively involved in other organizations including the Quebec Literacy Foundation, the Quebec Press Council and Canadian Women in Communications.
