Concurrently, and coinciding with the end of the consultation period, five press breakfasts were held throughout Quebec on Tuesday, January 19, where retailers from various sectors of activity informally discussed and spoke to the invited journalists about the following subjects:

• This important issue and the potential impact of these increases on their critical sectors of the economy;
• Our representations to government authorities since 2008.

The press breakfasts were held simultaneously in Alma, Montréal, Québec City, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières.
