Seminar on Bill 60
amending the Consumer Protection Act (Event in French only)
Hôtel Auberge Universel Montréal, 5000, Sherbrooke St East, H1V 1A1
Description of the event
This half day of presentations, organized by the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail, explores the amendments made in December 2009 to the Consumer Protection Act by Bill 60 and the ensuing regulations. These important changes, which will come into force by June 30, 2010, will affect many areas of retail business management. They will require retailers to quickly revise their practices with regard to financial management, operations, sales and marketing.
An application for recognition of this activity has been made to the Barreau du Québec in the context of the mandatory continuing education. Once we have confirmation of accreditation, the information will be sent to the participants and communicated to the CQCD members.
