\u201cAfter more than 40 years with the company founded by my own father, I am particularly proud to hand over the reins of Groupe Park Avenue to my son, Norman John, who joined the company nearly 10 years ago. This transition has been carefully planned for several years and I can see that Norman John and his team are ready for this challenge. After 10 years, Norman John has shown that he knows the company inside and out, embodies its values daily, and understands the workings of the automotive industry. I am convinced that under his leadership, the Groupe will continue to grow while remaining faithful to its values and will strive to innovate in order to meet the important challenges that await the automotive industry in the coming years,\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Norman H\u00e9bert<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Serving as President and CEO since 1991, Norman H\u00e9bert transitions after a distinguished career of over three decades in the automotive industry. His sharp business sense and desire for innovation have propelled the company, which today is one of the largest automotive groups in Qu\u00e9bec with 16 dealerships and over 1,000 employees. He will remain involved with the company as Executive Chairman of the Board.<\/span><\/p>\n

A business personality well-involved in his community, Norman H\u00e9bert has served as Chair of the Board of the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des alcools du Qu\u00e9bec (SAQ) and Concordia University, and sat on several other boards, including Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec, Centraide du Grand Montr\u00e9al, Bonjour Startup Montr\u00e9al, and Add\u00c9nergie. His involvement in the industry has also been recognized on several occasions: he was named a member of the Order of Canada (2017) due to his leadership in the sector and was the first in Quebec to receive the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) Laureate Award \u2013 Ambassador Category (2012), a high distinction for his service to the community and industry.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/main>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

A member of the third generation of the H\u00e9bert family, Norman John H\u00e9bert joined the family business in 2014 as Vice President and General Manager of MINI Brossard. After <\/span>serving as Vice President of Business Development for five years until 2020, he was promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company to manage the Groupe\u2019s operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the industry undergoes major transformations, the new President and COO takes the lead of a company that will face the challenge of seizing the right opportunities for growth and success, while also addressing the evolving needs and expectations of its customers and stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n
