For several years, Couche-Tard Connect\u00e9 combined artificial intelligence technologies for product recognition and mobile integration to redefine the in-store customer experience and test the feasibility and limits of a contactless payment experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a panel moderated by Damien Sil\u00e8s, General Director of the RCQ, you will hear the perspectives of the various stakeholders involved, while also gaining insights from this experimental project.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Damien Sil\u00e8s, formerly the General Director of the Quartier de l\u2019innovation de Montr\u00e9al and now holding the same title at the RCQ, will lead this discussion. His academic background in international business and his experience at the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal will enrich this exchange, linking it to Quebec\u2019s retail industry.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Val\u00e9rie Forget, Innovation Product Manager at Couche-Tard, specializes in managing technological innovation and will represent the multinational. She will shed light on the lessons learned from numerous innovation projects and academic research conducted at McGill’s laboratory.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Alexandre St-Aubin, a computer scientist by training and General Director of Thirdbridge, was one of those who worked day and night at the Couche-Tard at McGill University to contribute to the Couche-Tard Connect\u00e9 project. His expertise and experience will help explore the technical aspects of the project and its integration into the mobile application.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Charles De Brabant, Executive Director of the Bensadoun School of Retail Management at McGill, will also contribute.
