Natacha Beauchesne is Economic Development Commissioner – Circular Economy at the Ville de Montréal’s Economic Development Department. With over 25 years of experience in sustainable development and business strategy, she has played a key role in shaping and implementing Montréal’s three Sustainable Development Plans, engaging more than 400 stakeholders across public and private sectors.
Driven by a strong belief that ecological transition demands a profound shift in our economic and social models, she led the development of Montréal’s first Circular Economy Roadmap and now oversees the implementation of its action plans. Deeply committed to advancing circularity in Québec, Ms. Beauchesne serves on the strategic committee of the Fonds économie circulaire Canada’s first investment fund dedicated to the circular economy and on the committee of the Pôle québécois de concertation en économie circulaire.
