Anthony Amiel founded Groupe Amiel in 2017 with a bold vision: become the leading authority for home appliance purchases in Canada, while creating a crucial marketing platform for manufacturers looking to enter the Canadian market.

Every day, he works to transform the industry, bringing customers closer to their appliances and redefining their purchasing experience. By pioneering sales strategies, simplifying the customer journey, and providing outstanding service, he aims to set a new standard in his field.

As the president of the Board of Directors of the Retail Council of Quebec, he provides insights and recommendations on the retail sector as a whole.

Passionate about performing arts, he is also the President of the National Circus School’s Board, where he supports artists in the achievement of their full potential.

Annie St-Arneault has been Vice President, Retail Operations for METRO’s pharmacy division since November 2019. She has held various management positions within the company, where she played a crucial role in business process optimization, innovation and continuous service improvement. Prior to joining METRO, she acquired extensive experience in change management and operations optimization in the context of various large-scale IT projects with several medium and large corporate clients at Accenture, Bell Canada and Xerox Global Services.

She holds an MBA from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. Her focus is on building lasting business relationships, combining strategy and execution to deliver results, and bringing solid expertise in process management and optimization.

Norman John Hébert began his career in Paris as a Senior Advisor at the prestigious strategic consulting firm Oliver Wyman, where he carried out several mandates across Europe and the United States. In 2014, he took his first steps within the family business as Vice President and General Manager at MINI Brossard. In 2015, he was appointed Vice President of Business Development, a role he held for five years. In 2020, he was promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the Group’s overall operations. Since February 2023, Norman John has been leading Groupe Park Avenue as President and Chief Executive Officer. He also sits on the company’s Executive Committee.

In his daily responsibilities, Norman John is in charge of strategic planning, operational direction, and the execution of business plans designed to ensure the Group’s sustained growth and prominence. He represents the third generation of the Hébert family to lead the company.

In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Norman John Hébert is actively involved in the community. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Retail Council of Quebec for nearly ten years, and in May 2023, he was appointed Chairman of the Board. In June 2023, he joined a chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a global community of business leaders.

A graduate in Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Norman John also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal (École des hautes études commerciales).

Isabelle Beauregard has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Meubles RD since 2020 and President of Groupe VFD since 2025.

As Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with an MBA, she brings over 20 years of experience in financial management, process optimization, and organizational transformation. After holding several key positions in financial analysis, control, consulting, and operations management, she demonstrates a unifying leadership focused on innovation, collaboration, and authenticity. She is committed to creating work environments where autonomy, a sense of belonging, and enjoyment at work are at the heart of the culture.

In 2017, Charles joined McGill University to co-lead the creation and development of the Bensadoun School of Retail Management (BSRM) whose ambition is to be the leading academic institution in the world dedicated to the future of retail.

Charles has over 25 years of experience mostly working in Europe and most recently in China and Southeast Asia. His passions and expertise sit at the crossroads of people development, executive education and consulting in strongly branded and fast-growing retail environments.

Born and raised in Montreal, Charles holds a B. Com. from McGill, an M. Litt. in History from Oxford University and an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Marie-Christine Paré is a strategic and innovative leader in the shopping center industry. Since January 2025, she has served as the General Manager of Galeries de la Capitale, owned by Primaris Reit, leveraging her 20 years of experience in both retail and property management.

Driven by a strong desire for excellence, she remains constantly attuned to market trends and places customer experience at the heart of her priorities, always striving for improvement. Her management approach is based on collaboration and development, fostering training, knowledge sharing, and feedback within her team.

Over the past nine years at Galeries de la Capitale, she has played a key role in the redevelopment of the center, including major renovations to common areas, the Méga Parc, and the integration of flagship retailers.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, she grew up on the south shore of Quebec but also lived in Montreal and Toronto to further her studies and improve her English proficiency. Her commitment to efficiency, creativity, innovation, and leadership continues to shape her vision and management of the shopping center.

Damien Silès has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Retail Council of Quebec since January 2023.

He has a strong background in international business and served as General Director of the Quartier de l’innovation de Montréal from 2014 to 2022.

Before that, he was the General Director of the Société de développement social de Ville-Marie for six years, an organization he founded in 2008. His work there earned media recognition and two titles of Personnalité de la semaine by La Presse-Radio-Canada (February 2011 and June 2013).

From 2002 to 2008, he was also the Director of Membership and Sales at the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, where he built strong relationships with the Quebec business community.
