Quartier de l’innovation de Montréal

The Société Quartier de l’Innovation de Montréal is a non-profit organization created in 2013 at the initiative of McGill University and the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS).

To foster a one-of-a-kind innovation ecosystem in which experimentation and collaboration between academics, entrepreneurs and residents generate benefits for society.

To be a world-class urban laboratory for experimentation.

The QI district encompasses the neighbourhoods of Griffintown and Little Burgundy and is bounded by René-Lévesque Boulevard and the Lachine Canal to the north and south, and by McGill Street and Atwater Avenue to the east and west (including Silo No. 5 and the Wellington Basin).
