Daniel Normandin

Cofounder and executive director

Mr. Normandin is co-founder and Executive Director of the Environment, Sustainable Development and Circular Economy (EDDEC) Institute of Université de Montréal Campus. He has previously been involved in the development and deployment of Quantis, an international consulting firm specializing in life cycle analysis and corporate social responsibility. Before his work in the private sector, Mr. Normandin had an academic career, mostly at Polytechnique Montréal where he was devoted to the establishment and development of various research units in the fields of the environment, sustainable development and analysis of the life cycle. A recognized speaker, he is also the author of several reports and articles on environmental biotechnology, life cycle management and the circular economy. He is also considered one of the pioneers of the circular economy in Canada.
