Second-generation Martin Lafrance has risen through the ranks of the family business founded in 1965. He played a key role in the company’s digital transformation and was instrumental in the creation of new store concepts. Martin currently serves as Vice President and is heavily involved in operations and management. He holds a business degree from Concordia University and a certificate from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles.
The Marie Claire Group today owns several brands, including Marie Claire Boutiques, San Francisco, Claire France, Grenier, Dans un Jardin, Livom and Brandnlogo. The company has nearly 300 boutiques. It employs more than 1,500 people in Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick.
