Pierre Fitzgibbon

Pierre Fitzgibbon was born in Montréal. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Montréal École des hautes études commerciales (HEC) and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec. Before going into politics, Mr. Fitzgibbon was Managing Partner at Partenaires Walter Capital, a private investment firm, from 2015 to 2018. From 2007 to 2014, Mr. Fitzgibbon was President and CEO of Atrium Innovations, a company that develops, manufactures and markets added value products for the health and nutrition industry. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Fitzgibbon worked at Groupe Banque Nationale, where he held various positions, including Vice-President of the board of Financière Banque Nationale. He was also responsible for investment banking and business financing services, and acted as Senior Vice-President, Finance, IT and Corporate Affairs at Banque Nationale du Canada. Prior to 2002, Mr. Fitzgibbon also worked in finance, as well as business and enterprise development at Télésystème Mobiles International, Chase Capital Partners Hong Kong, Domtar and Tapis Peerless. He started his career in audit and consulting services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Over the past few years, Mr. Fitzgibbon sat on several boards of directors, including the boards of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, WSP, Héroux-Devtek, Groupe Transcontinental, Fonds Cycle Capital III, Neptune Technologies, Lumenpulse and Arianne Phosphate. As a businessman engaged in his community, Mr. Fitzgibbon was also actively involved with several organizations, including, up until recently, the Fondation du Dr Julien.
