Marie-France holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Cooperative and Community Development Management. For more than 20 years, she has been working in community economic and social development and advancing the social economy in Québec. Throughout her career, she has contributed to a variety of organizations dedicated to strengthening local economic vitality and improving communities’ quality of life. She has led numerous initiatives focused on scaling social economy enterprises, measuring their social impact, and advancing their role in the development of Québec’s circular economy.

Since 2021, Marie-France has served as Executive Director of Insertech, a social enterprise that leverages workforce integration and reuse activities to support an ambitious social and ecological transition in Québec. Since April 2025, she has also been a founding member and Co-Chair of the Québec Network of Social and Circular Economy Enterprises (Réseau des entreprises d’économie sociale et circulaire du Québec).
