Damien Silès has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Retail Council of Quebec since January 2023.

He has a strong background in international business and served as General Director of the Quartier de l’innovation de Montréal since 2014.

Before that, he was the General Director of the Société de développement social de Ville-Marie for six years, an organization he founded in 2008. His work there earned media recognition and two titles of Personnalité de la semaine by La Presse-Radio-Canada (February 2011 and June 2013).

From 2002 to 2008, he was also the Director of Membership and Sales at the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, where he built strong relationships with the Quebec business community.
