Jacques Farcy has more than 30 years of experience in strategy, organizational transformation, and corporate leadership, gained at organizations of all sizes in Europe and Canada. A graduate of the Institut commercial de Nancy (France) and holder of an EMBA from HEC Montréal–McGill University, Jacques has served as President and CEO of the SAQ since 2023. In this role, he is leading the modernization of the government-owned corporation with a clear vision: to offer Quebecers unparalleled access to the widest range of alcoholic beverages, in the interest of our customers and of Quebec. Together with the SAQ teams and driven by their passion, he is shaping an organization that is more agile, accountable, and closer to its customers.
Throughout his career, he has notably led the Société québécoise du cannabis, held various vice-president positions at the SAQ, and served as COO of dunnhumby in Canada. Recognized for his inspiring leadership, he believes in open communication, the contribution of every individual, and the strength of the team.
