Fabien Durif (Ph.D.) is a tenured professor in the Marketing Department at ESG UQÀM and a recognized expert in responsible consumption and new consumer trends. He heads the Observatoire de la consommation responsable (OCR) and the Laboratoire FCI de recherche en nouvelles expériences utilisateurs et en écoresponsabilité (GreenUXlab).

A distinguished researcher (75 articles in scientific journals, over 130 conference talks, over 150 reports/knowledge mobilization tools, over $2 million in research grants), he collaborates regularly with government departments and organizations, in addition to being frequently called on (over 500 times) by the media for his expert views, notably as a science and environment columnist for Radio-Canada since 2017 (Moteur de recherche, Les éclaireurs programs).
